Part of the 1Day Africa Malaria Research Program. I managed a pool of mixed-methods research contractors by scoping, assigning, and reviewing research tasks. My independent contributions involved cost-effectiveness analyses, evidence reviews, expert interviews, and report writing.

Algorithms research engineer on the Cardiac Mapping team. Kardium develops the Globe Pulsed Field system for the diagnosis and treatment of atrial fibrillation. I designed and evaluated tracking and navigation algorithms that transform multivariate physiological data into actionable information for electrophysiologist physicians during cardiac ablation procedures. Quantitative research scientist on the Advanced Concepts Product R&D team. My role entailed a mix of applied research and protocol design which involved leading and on-body human biomechanics and materials lab data collection, as well as producing documentation-rich and generalizable software tools to facilitate our cross-functional research needs. Instructor for an upper division/fourth year biomedical sciences course on wearable technology and human physiology (course code: BPK 409). I prepared and delivered lessons, lab sessions, assignments, and quizzes. Course content included wearable tech hardware and software to acquire and process data using Arduino and Python, and programming industry-standard machine learning algorithms to analyze physical motion and cardiac electrical activity (ECG).

Lead data engineer and analyst role with principal investigators Victoria Claydon, PhD. (CPL) and Tom Claydon, PhD. (Claydon Lab) on two independent projects: (1) Syncope cardiovascular pathophysiology mechanisms, (2) drug-induced cardiac arrhythmias in benchtop myocytes. Resulted in several publications.

Delivered 1-on-1 and group tutoring sessions in foundational Mathematics, Physics, and Biomechanics courses to student-athletes.

Injury Prevention and Mobility Laboratory. Researched the biomechanics of falls and fall-related injury, and developed a novel mechanical testing method to simulate head impact dynamics in real-life older adult falls.

Center for Earth Observation Science (CEOS). Researched sea ice geophysics and climatology by imaging the temporal and spatial evolution and movement of brine in surrogate sea ice using electrical resistivity tomography (ERT).
