One of my superpowers is predicting how people will respond in instructional environments and activities, online and in-person, and providing them support to overcome challenges and reach learning goals. I have served as technical lead on over $140m of language (L1 and L2), soft skills, and STEM-focused development programs. When I was an Assistant Professor at Saint Louis University, my research focus was computer-assisted language learning. In the last five years, my work has increasingly included social and emotional learning (SEL). I've designed and implemented online teacher training courses and MOOCs that have been completed by more than 35,000 participants, from more than 110 countries, and I've coached instructional designers who have created online courses for tens of thousands of learners. Extensive travel, residency, research, and development experience in Latin America, the MENA region, and Central Asia.
