Business Analyst - State of Ohio Jobs and Family Services Child Payment Upgrade project.

The purpose of Personal Computer Technical Upgrade (PCTU) project was to provide a turnkey solution for the hardware and software upgrade of over 27,000 ODJFS Windows XP workstations in both State and County offices. In addition to the required hardware and software upgrades, end user-specific applications, settings and data were migrated to the new platform with zero data loss. Accomplishments:• Built and maintained a project plan incorporating ODJFS requirements while providing seamless platform upgrades ahead of client expectation timeframes with no data loss.• Assisting in the creation and use implementation of VB scripting that automated (inventory/data discovery/specific end user settings migration/restoration) processes, enabling a reduction in project headcount to reduce the over all footprint of resources from 21 to 6 within during the first year, saving hundreds of thousands of dollars in project cost with a major cost savings.• Provided concise inventory of assets for all Jobs and Family Service’sODJFS State and County facilities locations.• Developed and executed a disposal plans for over 27,000 obsolete expired workstations and peripherals accessories.• Provided manuals and training to ODJFS technical support personal for handoff of PCTU to state agency control at the conclusion end of the project term.
