Building an AI trip planner

- Leading the Dasher Engineering team whose mission is to build a highly engaged realtime workforce and empower them to fulfill marketplace services by providing a fast,reliable and high quality experience. - Managing 4 teams - Growth, Engagement, Fulfillment & Courier of 60+ engineers & managers across multiple platforms including Web, iOS, Android, BE to build multiple systems that enable the conversion, retention, engagement of dashers and provide easy to use experience to them for fulfillment of deliveries.

- Leading multiple teams responsible for the development of the Promise, Sourcing, Pricing & Capacity Engine for Walmart.com. - Managing a team of elite engineers to build these systems which in tandem provides the core outbound supply chain capabilities.

- Managing the Promise & Sourcing engine for Walmart.com- Lead the team to deliver multiple business initiatives including Free 2-calendar day shipping, Economy shipping discounts, etc. that helped grow Walmart E-commerce sales by about 60%

- Lead the architecture and decision making related to technology, algorithms, engineering processes, etc. for the team- Work with teams in other pillars across the E2E stack to establish system interactions, service contracts and call patterns.- Ensure scalability and performance of the system and deem stability for peak load.

- Worked for Bid Traffic Estimation Engine for BingAds (Adcenter) organization in Microsoft. This system used to derive the minimal bid that an advertiser should apply on the keywords so that the ads show up in the top results on Bing search for that keyword.- Primarily responsible for Design & Automation of the product. Also, worked on mining data to figure out relations between various KPIs to be able to modal the fitness function to predict the performance of Ads on Bing search. - Was also a major contributor to Engineering Excellence community in Microsoft targeted at process improvements, cost and resource optimizations, infrastructural aspects, etc. - Also, worked on large scale and distributed systems (Hadoop) to perform offline processing to derive KPIs relevant to Ads business and customers. - Also, represented the engineering team in discussions with Product, Assistant managers, Sales Managers and other customers for Ad agencies.

Worked for Netscaler, a load-balancing tool. I was responsible for building and testing of features around TCP, RFC compliance, TCP window management, SACK etc. Also, was a major contributor to the Tools & Automation team at Citrix.
