Operations HeadSamarth Dairy Farms May 2014 - 2016Miraj, MaharashtraABOUTThis was the concept founded by my Father which he thought could actually run in our small town Miraj, Maharashtra. As my Father passed away in 2014 I took it as a challenge and took it forward. It was basically started on 10 cattle ( Bangalore Jerseys), after analyzing the entire concept, I started working on it and I was successful in it. Down the lane 2 years later I took it to 140 jerseys and then to 200 jerseys. I achieved it because of my dedication and hard work and aggression towards achieving the target using my management skills. Along with this dairy farm I also started taking on 4-5 acres of land of farmers on lease. Where I started cultivating grapes, capsicum and watermelon and seasonal vegetables. Right now at this moment I have almost 160 labors working in these farms and dairy farm.RESPONSIBILITIES• Worked as Manager, which includes keeping track record of each and every jersey (medical, ejaculation of milk per day). • Daily working on which type of fodder and nutritional food should be given to jerseys that will keep them healthy and disease free. • Initially it was real tough to get into all these but slowly I got the grip. Working on every calculation of how much every jersey is paying me back. • Keeping entire track record of it made me to get the best result. • Simultaneously also thoroughly worked on cultivation too. It was just I was studying every detail of every product and implementing it. • Making sure each and every daily task is done by labours was monitored keenly. Results:
