Set in a beautifully restored Rice Beaufort horsebox, this mobile bar service is available for weddings, events and private parties!

Design, develop, deliver and monitor tourism initiatives and projects in line with the Fermanagh
and Omagh 2030 Community Plan, Corporate Plan and the Council’s Tourism Development
Strategy ensuring co-operation with private and public sector partners.
Contribute to the delivery of the Council’s Tourism Development function that includes: tourism
business support, training, customer care schemes and promote the development of tourism
business clusters.
Develop, deliver and monitor Councils existing and new tourism capital and revenue projects
as well as tourism events and festivals that have a benefit to the local tourism economy,
reflecting the landscape, heritage and culture of the area, and create a quality product for
visitors and tourists to the area to benefit the economy.
Represent the section on relevant partnerships including the Sperrins Partnership, Ballybay
Clones Erne East Partnership, Sliabh Beagh Partnership, Devenish Island Partnership
Contribute to delivering activity associated with the Council’s Visitor Experience Development
Plan
Develop relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to encourage tourism networking
opportunities, best practice and collaboration in developing the tourism product within the
district.

Manage the festivals and events section for effective delivery of service outcomes

Responsibilities include
• Lead and manage the Events team to ensure the successful delivery and outcomes of Councils events.
• Review, plan and implement a festival and events strategy to scope and deliver future large scale events.
• Prepare a service plan which will incorporate all aspects and requirements of planned events.
• Develop and action a marketing plan to promote the Councils festival and events programme.
• Source, secure and negotiate performers including musicians, artists, walkabout, touring shows.

Achievements
• Introduced a step change to the City of Derry Jazz festival bringing artists to the bill including Jamie Callum, Kyle Eastwood and Anthony Strong
• Developed, produced and managed the Halloween City of Bones programme for 2015 which was voted No1 destination in the world by USA Today!
• Won Best Event / Festival Experience at Tourism NI Awards 2015 for the Foyle Maritime Festival 2015
• Event Managed two sell out MTV Crashes music events to include artist liaison via MTV talent team, production and technical delivery, Event safety & crowd management, 2014 (10,000 per night)
• Designed, implemented and managed the 9 day LegenDerry maritime festival welcoming the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, 2014 (240,000 visitors)
• Secured in excess of £500,000 additional funding for Council led events
