Engaged in complete testing cycle from creation of test plan, building the test bed, function & system verification to soaktesting. Concentrating mainly on Multicast over SPB along with the industry standard routing protocols in L2 / L3. Worked on new features – IP ARP-Spoofing and IP Directed Broadcast. I am the lead for this feature, responsible rightfrom protocol definition to working closely with the developers on what can be achieved and test case planning as wellas execution. Intricacies involve with VRRP / RSMLT situations where two devices can respond to the same IP address. Part of the Customer Engineering team as well to provide better user experience for customers using Avaya’s FabricConnect solution. Collaborating with the Product Line Managers on product enhancements and what features the nextrelease should have. Engaged in complete testing cycle from creation of test plan, building the test bed, function & system verification to soaktesting and scaling. Presented at Oxford College of Engineering on Next Generation Networks to an audience comprising of post-graduatesand professors. Talked about SPBm, TRILL, VxLAN, SDN and a few protocols which have now every Vendor supportsbut not yet part of the academia in India. On a non-technical front, I am the President of the Sports Committee; my job is to organize various outdoor events forthe ~300 Avaya – Bangalore employees to ensure there is not just work but some play as well.
