Responsible for assessing the impact of global regulations , coordinating implementation and developing appropriate governance processes to support the operational infrastructure and ensure compliance with all associated mandates. Regulations under domain are EMIR, MAS, ASIC, Canada, MMSR Reporting, SONIA Reporting, MIFID2.-Manage the backlogs for the DevOps teams according to the Scrum Agile method and operational project management for Global Regulatory workstreams, cross product, including stakeholder management at forums of all levels of seniority. Acted as an representative on Industry discussions and working groups.-Accountable for end-to-end service/process design and service delivery of the regulatory transaction reporting to (internal) clients while globally setting and managing end-to-end reporting requirements across all locations-Developed business requirements, being the bridge between IT and the business. Implementation & test plans in partnership with the respective business users and technology teams. Worked collaboratively with teams on detailed analysis of processes and workflows for cross asset Derivatives (Commodities, Equities, Credit, Rates and FX) and Securities to develop and deliver strategic solutions for ING and its clients.-Identified, monitored, and performed analysis associated with post trade exception management across various regulatory requirements. Set up and led a data quality working group to increase compliancy acceptance. Identified areas for improvement and worked collaboratively with individuals in other support functions to implement and improve for further maturity of post trade governance processes.-Developed robust control framework and procedures for existing and new requirements to ensure appropriate governance and processes are in place across regulations. Continuously pursued to improve and achieve best practice standardization, in conjunction with stakeholders at all levels of seniority.

My department was part of Financial Markets Operations, we were the Centre of Excellence team for collateral management. We had a global mandate and set the global processing standards when it comes to collateral management services. I was an analyst then progressed to senior associate and supervised a team of 7 FTE.Responsible for the performance and delivery of the complex but exciting global collateral management processes including OTC Derivatives, Repo/ Securities Lending & Borrowing, Central Clearing, Structured Inventory Products, Exchange Traded Derivatives margining, Portfolio Reconciliation & Dispute Management. Played a crucial role in strategic projects, worked closely together with Change and Tech for new new product offering ( Client clearing, Structured inventory products), new solutions and strategic initiatives. Spent time overseas in the Philippines building a team and ensuring the process migrations were transferred successfully. -Maintained a controlled environment and ensure the department meets and reports on control standards. Prioritize based on high risk collateral and market developments that increase risk on collateral held by certain counterparties.-Successfully managed multiple concurrent projects to completion, spanning a global organization designed to improve the client experience, increase operational efficiency or reduce risk. -Maintained comprehensive understanding of market, vendor and regulatory implications to the Banks operating environment and how this should impact ( e.g. EMIR RIsk Mitigation, create processes and controls to meet regulatory requirements, such as Port Recon, VM Margining, TImely confirmations , Trade Reporting)-Sourcing and verification of a variety of asset class valuations from bank models and identify deficiencies in supplied independent data, and interaction with Product Control to understand and apply model based solutions to value hard-to-price structured trades.
