About Karan Singla
My passion lies in designing experiences for people which make them believe in their innate abilities of creativity and build confidence that they can come up with ideas and change the world for the better, in the ways they would love. I have experienced this by designing travel experiences for people and working as an educator. After graduating from IIT Delhi, I have worked in the education sector with Teach For India for 2 years. My best moments have been when children were able to come up with new ideas to different problems, and when other stakeholders were able to see that things need not be done the way they have always been done in the past. I worked as an educator with Better By Design, where we believe in the ability of each individual to come up with new ideas and be able to creatively solve problems. My most important learnings have come from traveling to different places, organising trips in college, trying to do startup(s) in college, working with a very dedicated team of staff and the wonderful children at AVBS (during TFI fellowship), my teachers at Vidyamandir classes and my father’s life.Storytelling, travel, education, problem solving and startups keep me sane. Looking forward to adding Artificial intelligence to this list.
