As the CHANEL RTW boutique manager, I supported all top stylists at Nordstrom. I was responsible for buying the merchandise as well as managing the budget. Sales coaching, managing client relationships and teaching product knowledge were daily responsibilities. In addition to running the boutique, I took on the role of manager in charge for the store and co-managed the woman's designer RTW floor.

Assistant Manager of Collectors- A $12M woman’s designer RTW department. I led a team of eight sales people and two stylists on the top three designer floors at Nordstrom. I coached each sales person to meet sales goals, grow their clientele and improve customer service. I played a role in teaching product knowledge to all woman’s departments and ran designer trunk shows and events which bring $1M annually. In addition to running the department, I took on manager in charge shifts for the store.

Department Manager for TBD and Trend Accessories- the woman’s denim department. I was the manager and merchandiser for the two departments bringing in $2.5M annually. I hired and trained a new team of 6-8 stylists. My team increased the department commission hourly average $3 an hour by developing client relationships and improving the experience for the customer. Our sales focus earned us the #4 spot in the company during the largest event of the year- Anniversary Sale. In addition to running the two departments, I took on manager in charge shifts for the store.

The Assistant Manager for Point of View, Individualist and Via C- the casual and progressive designer departments. Manager and merchandiser for $6-$9 million departments. In this assignment, I hired top talent, trained new hires and developed top sellers, created relationships with vendor reps, executed sales contests and implemented new merchandising strategies.

As a Sales Person, I was responsible for meeting sales goals in my department. I managed my own clientele based on relational sales in a commissioned environment. I was quickly promoted to the leadership development program after 8 successful months of selling and proving leadership qualities through providing solutions to customer issues.

Grapevine, Texas

As the Apparel Specialist, I was a visual merchandiser and a store team lead. I was responsible for all visual standards in the softlines department, covering 15,000 square feet. I executed floor sets, planogram sets, and dressed mannequins. This included understanding what product was selling or not selling and request product when inventory was low. I created signage to communicate sales and advertise special promotions. As a manager, I was responsible for the opening and closing procedures, daily operations on the sales floor, assisting cashiers at the register, providing excellent customer service, and delegating tasks to the soft lines team.

Fort Worth, Texas

Responsible for merchandising the new product and creating an aesthetic store atmosphere. I also created inspiration boards and window displays by hand crafting raw materials into beautiful art. This internship taught me the importance of reviewing financial reports to make visual decisions for the store.
