About John Karch
During the summer of 2022, I had to work three jobs simultaneously. As a college student, I wanted a summer internship but couldn't acquire one. Instead of sulking and complaining, I took the bull by the horns and worked hard to motivate myself. My work ethic is something that separates me from most of my peers. I don't like sitting idle and complacent when my co-workers are rushing around to accomplish their goals. I want to work hard because it gives me the purpose to wake up in the morning and drive to succeed beyond my goals. Many of my experiences have been holistic and hands-on; I believe that reading has also forged me into the person I am today.Reading works ranging from fantasy to philosophy has opened my eyes to the possibilities of what it means to succeed. Learning how to tell a coherent story is a skill that I believe to be highly beneficial to any employer. Storytelling reveals the capabilities a person has regarding their communicative skills. I believe that if anyone can tell a story that anyone can comprehend, they are an asset to any working environment. One of my main goals in life to continue to grow my story. I look forward to seeing where my work ethic takes me and how I continue to develop as a working member of society and as a person.

By not berating my coworkers with demands and poorly executed orders, they learn to love their job.The work I do Architect's can be challenging and requires a remarkable amount of mental and physical fortitude. The pressure got overwhelming at times but quitting was never an option for me. Six years of the stress of needing to make sure a couple's wedding goes perfectly has prepared me to handle stressful situations the best that I can. A motto I started at Arhcitect's is "Learn to thrive in the chaos." Chaos is prominent in any workplace, and learning to deal with it correctly at 17 has been highly beneficial to me. Show less

My articles began in-depth as a down-for-down summary of Seahawks games. But I quickly learned that those articles were too long for recreational reading. I learned to find critical information from games and cite it in my papers, giving the readers what they need to read. My time at Relevnt also expanded my experience working with people I may not entirely agree with. In sports media, there is more arguing than there is agreement. When I worked on podcasts with my peers, I never fully agreed with their opinions. However, I learned to respect their views as they learned to appreciate mine--an important lesson to learn for life.
