Shift Manager - Global Trip Support
CurrentAs Shift Manager - Global Trip Support at World Fuel Services, I lead day-to-day operations, providing supervisory support to ops staff. I ensure quality control of all product output, complete Daily Trip QC reports, and act as primary customer contact. My responsibilities include determining staffing needs, acting as management in their absence, and mentoring operations staff for expertise. I oversee specialty programs, update trips based on customer communications, and make informed decisions on flight details and suppliers. Additionally, I arrange ground handling, permits, customs, and accommodations, providing expert support to customers. I conduct employee performance reviews, maintain timesheets, and educate staff on processes and regulations. As a liaison between operations and sales, I assist other departments and handle credit issues. I conduct initial disciplinary measures and provide employee reviews for advancement and promotions. I positively influence staff and maintain professionalism in stressful situations. Moreover, I market and sell all WFS Trip Support products and services to existing and prospective customers.
