In this business development position, I led a cross-functional effort, involving Gas, Production, Development and Exploration functions. Purpose was to enhance commercial development of several rich gas discoveries through maturing gas evacuation solutions. After establishing the company strategy, we initiated an joined industry effort. The role also encompassed extensive stakeholder influencing incl. the Ministry of Petroleum and Industry.

Within the Gas Marketing function, I held the position of Manager European Long Term Sales located in London/Stavanger. The sales team comprised of 6 staff. In this period the Norwegian gas business was in the process of being restructured to comply with EU directives. In addition to the restructuring effort, the sales (and supply) function was successfully transferred from Stavanger to London and integrated into the EM European Gas Marketing organization.
