Second, I’m not sure what made me decide to become an attorney. Third, I seem to be pretty good at what I do. Most people, including my clients, think that I am a professional with a sense of humor, open-minded, and full of energy. BusinessI was the managing partner of Spigt Dutch Caribbean until 1 October 2014. As of 1 January 2015 I am the managing partner of BZSE Attorneys at Law in Curacao. I really like practicing in the Dutch Caribbean because it’s a perfect mix: working in an almost tropical environment and getting paid for it too...My specialties are corporate law, finance law, corporate governance and dispute resolution. Until 2024, I was the sole representative of ICC’s FraudNet for the Dutch Caribbean (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, St. Maarten, St. Eustatius and Saba). FraudNet is an international network of independent lawyers who are the leading civil asset recovery specialists in each country. FraudNet is operating under the aegis of the International Chamber of Commerce.BZSE Attorneys at Law & Tax Advisers is about people, not about cases!There is also some 'non-legal stuff' in my life: Who wouldn’t want a real “Frielink” on the wall?
