I assessed the circularity of all waste streams, from plastics to matrasses, to tires and glass. The role provides a unique insight in the circularity of different materials, and plenty of opportunity to suggest improvements.

Helped to develop a circular business model for a sustainable housing concept. The concept is intended to help solve the global need for sustainable housing especially in the poorest regions of the world. The solution is a carbon-negative, prefab house that is scalable and affordable. The first houses have now been completed in Uganda and Mozambique

I was a tour guide for mountainbike tours through the mines of valkenburg. Guests are invited 40m underground in an expansive maze-like mineshaft in utter darkness. The role of the guide is to ensure the safety of the group, and to teach them about the mines.

The University Choir of Maastricht is a large and ambitious choir comprising of ~100 students and staff of the university, representing over a dozen nationalities. During my time in the board we organised two concerts and rehearsal weekends.
