Guiding people in the outdoors is my passion. Providing safe environments in which other people dare to trust their natural strengths and abilities, and dare to go ahead, is my personal mission.I took my first steps in guiding people in the outdoors at the age of 17, as an outdoor guide in Switzerland. Since 8 years, I started working as a “coach in developing self-confidence”, as a “nature based development coach” and since 2022, I am an International Wilderness Guide, certified in Finland. From then, I started working with Bold in Outdoor Leadership Development Expeditions in Norway, and the Wilderness Hotel in Inari, Finnish Lapland.Nature became my teacher and classroomI simply didn’t fit in mainstream society. Why not? My abundant energy didn’t match with the restricted small spaces in which we live, learn and work between four walls. I needed space, air and a sense of freedom.Nature became my mirror, teacher, therapist, classroom, source for inspiration and perspectives. Courage, energy and confidence are my main three characteristics. And my pitfalls…I become an unstoppable ball of energy when I am completely free to go all out from my own skills. My best professional moments have been while guiding and coaching in BOLD Expeditions programs for MBA-students and Corporate Leadership Development. Especially the Leadership Retreat with the High Potentials of Hugo Boss and the Capstones for MBA-students of the Imperial College London, were high performance moments. That is how I found out that I match with c-level, hipo’s and hipers.Many thanks to BOLD Expeditions for allowing me to be a guide and coach in their programs, because precisely that allowed me to discover my professional path. Of course, I continue working as a freelance guide and coach with BOLD, and we are partners in business retreats.In Ignite Leadership Retreats, I apply all these cross-transferable experiences and skills.
