Upon graduation from Hotel School I fulfilled several management postions within the hospitality sector. I particularly enjoyed my time as a District Manager at Eurest (now Compass Group). I soon founded my own recruitment agency (4 FTE) focused at high-end personnel placement within the hospitality sector. By coincidence I got involved in a 'hotel flip' when a client failed to complete on a hotel acquisition. A long term client and I completed the deal, and we quickly decided to build upon our successful endeavour. We started developing, acquiring and renting out property, both residential and commercial. Together we undertook in excess of 10 projects, mostly multi-million euro deals. Some examples include: Zorghotel Veghel, Hotel Overbosch, Best Western Hotel Nobis Asten, Hotel Asteria Venray, Den Zwarten Berg and Kantorenverzamelgebouw Genius Loci. I have over 20 years of relevant industry experience. All projects undertaken resulted into a positive return from day one with no start-up losses.
