• Oversee a team of two in conjunction with a mirror team that supports nearly 80 complexes annually generating roughly 23 billion in compensable revenue that house ~15,000 advisors in all regions of the US.• Project manage time-sensitive tasks for senior management involving Advisor team structure and pay issues, legal and HR matters, audit control methods and other one-off situations.• Coordinated, developed, instituted instruction and liaised with the business regarding new enhancements to the current compensation policy. The sole lead in communicating and explaining this new structure to the field.• Partner with HR, regional/national senior management, IT and other business units to educate, guide and support comp initiatives.• Heading up the streamlining efforts for current processes to improve efficacy.• Selected to create/update/improve upon written policy and procedure documents.• Represented/testified as a SME in arbitration matters concerning applicable comp policy and calculation accuracy under present and past compensation programs.• In addition to the above, I maintain of the responsibilities of my previous position.

• Leader of project teams in support of various initiatives and compensation plan modifications.• Create and introduce presentations regarding FA compensation via live meetings/in person nationwide.• Create recurring and Ad Hoc reporting for senior management to support the various compensation plans, budget forecasting, profitability and key performance indicators.• Work with high level business users/managers to implement new solutions across the various Business Units within the Firm.• Support and process enhancements to existing comp plans.• Troubleshoot issues - solving independently or escalating to development team.• Proactively identify new opportunities and act on them, including identifying automation opportunities.• Maintain and continuously improve control procedures.• Work closely with HR to ensure proper controls and audit procedures are in place and followed regarding off cycle payments.

• Part of a motivated, intelligent team that manages/supports the gross commissions and net payout for over 17,000 Financial Advisors.• Responsible for accurately compensating nearly 6,000 FAs, primarily communicating with over 150-branch management teams in the Midwest and Southern regions of the US.• Focus on addressing concerns about commission payout on a multitude of financial products.• Process incoming requests from the field via E-mail, expeditiously; to include but not limited to production number set-ups, split arrangement set-ups and allocation changes, grid payout alterations, account/household exemptions and overrides, gross and net adjustments, FA driven sales assistant payments, error production offsets, commission payroll adjustments.• Investigate and process payments for FAs on short-term disability.• Work closely with the internal control group to ascertain and satisfy audit requirements.• Assist in the UAT (User Acceptance Testing), in a closed environment, of the Team Registry online roll out.• Work closely with various product areas and other related departments to assist in resolution of unique compensation issues.• Provide back-up support for team members.
