I have 21 years of clinical nursing experience centered mostly in critical care. Experience in a Bone Marrow Transplant Unit included. I have endured many different scenarios during my nursing career and I love the fact that I learn something new everyday. I also enjoy teaching my patients and families so they are informed and better prepared for their situation. If I don't know something, there is always a coworker who can contribute their knowledge. Nursing has strengthened me mentally and helped me to be more prepared and empathetic regarding my patients and their medical and psychiatric care.
