I am an English law qualified solicitor working as a Managing Associate in Linklaters' Energy & Infrastructure practice, specialising in energy and infrastructure work and global project finance.My main area of interest is advising HM Government regarding major infrastructure projects, including advising the Department for Transport on Crossrail and the Emergency Recovery Measures Agreements (which marked the end of the rail franchising system and have been billed as a stepping stone towards a new model for operating train services in the future), and the Ministry of Defence on its Naval Shipbuilding Programme.I also have experience advising on all phases of nuclear projects, acting for Thames Water on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, and advising on various PPP/PFI projects, infrastructure acquisitions and renewable energy projects.I have also assisted with merger control filings, advising on state aid and public procurement, the restructuring of the Yellow Pages business and advising trustees and companies on matters of pensions law.My pro bono work includes assisting to write and editing a multi-jurisdictional study for Penal Reform International entitled "Women who kill their abusers: How do criminal justice systems respond?”, advising at a regular housing advice clinic at the Mary Ward Legal Centre, advising a large international charity on the implementation of digital birth registration in Kenya and assisting with a project in association with the International Bar Association.
