After teaching for 20 years, I have moved into a research position for Cahn Litigation that finds expert witnesses for litigation. Before teaching, I received a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MBA in Finance and Marketing and worked for Xerox, Corp for five years, in Paper and Special Products. I continued work in the paper and printing industry with a short stint at AMGRAPH Packaging, then six years at Arkwright, Inc in Guilford CT, as their QC Manager and eventually also their Coating Manager. I worked with their wide-format printing papers, mainly for ink jet, xerography, or blueprint printing technologies. However, my passion was teaching, and I applied for a spot in the Connecticut state Accelerated Route to Certification (ARC) program to get a teaching certificate in chemistry. I have enjoyed sharing my passion for science with teenagers for over two decades.
