I am a partner in the Labor and Employment Practice Group and am board certified in labor and employment law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. I represent employers in employment litigation involving a variety of claims, including claims concerning age, sex, gender, pregnancy, race, national origin, disability, religion, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, retaliation, breach of contract, covenants not to compete and other employment laws and related torts. I also have represented employers in negotiations and/or proceedings with governmental agencies and parties in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, the American Arbitration Association and other arbitration forums. I frequently prepare employment agreements and employment-related policies, provide management training, and counsel employers on various employment issues.
