Responsible for day to day operations for a 17 chair ambulatory infusion suite and Hematology Oncology multi physician practice with 21direct reports. Additionally responsible for administering chemotherapy, supportive care drugs and all blood products for an adult population. Monitor's QI projects, monthly statistic reports, patient satisfaction/press ganey reports, Manager Chair for Oncology Shared Governance. Resource person for staff education and annual competencies. OCN, CBCN, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, BCLS, ACLS certified.

Responsible for establishing first ambulatory infusion suite for adult population. Administration of all chemotherapy, blood products and supportive care drugs. Established protocals of care, teaching tools and training of additional nurses and fellows. Established guidelines for scheduling and electronic ordering system of chemotherapy.

Home infusion nurse responsible for administering TPN, antibiotics, antivirals and chemotherapy in the home setting. PICC insertion, port and Hickman catheter care. Also responsible for administering chemotherapy in multiple physician offices.

First trained Oncology Nurse for the hospital. Responsible for administering anti neoplastic agents to adult inpatient and two ambulatory clinics. Established safe handling protocals, central line care, side effect management of chemotherapy for staff nurses, Physician assistants and fellows. Trained two additional infusion nurses during this time.
