I am a Chartered Accountant and Director at Marlborough based Chartered Accounting firm Wallace Diack CA. I am an organised, committed, energetic and performance-driven Chartered Accountant with the ability to make financial information relevant to the wider business and drive overall improvement. My greatest strengths are my ability to drive business efficiencies and to facilitate process improvement within the financial systems. My core skills lie in my high-level financial acumen and understanding of business, combined with my risk and critical process identification and mitigation. Born and raised in Blenheim, I’ve worked in New Zealand, Australia and Canada and gained broad accountancy and taxation experience across a range of industries including FMCG, Agriculture/Viticulture, Manufacturing, Transport, Finance and Retail.I’ve worked in both public practice and the corporate sector and have am also a member on a number of boards as well as a member of the Institute of Directors.I am the Deputy Chair of the Graeme Dingle Foundation Marlborough, which runs the primary school kids mentoring programme teaching soft skills like resilience, respect and integrity. It also runs the career navigator programme for senior students providing them with relationship with mentors in the community which opens their eyes to job opportunities in the region.
