I have sole responsibility for organising, coordinating and managing all events held on behalf of the college both internally and externally. Duties include organising dates, venues, planning, budgets, promotion, speakers, preparation of exhibition material, keeping everyone informed of their duties and roles, supervising the event and providing feedback and follow up actions. The largest college events I project manage are an annual graduation ceremony, staff awards, open evenings and conferences. I liaise directly with publishers to organise advertisements, designers for publications of promotional materials, offices of local MPs to organise visits, merchandise suppliers I have also set up the events section on the college website and update this on a regular basis.
