In this temporary position, I coached students and young adults who were entering college or graduate school, or who were seeking a professional position. With college applicants, I assisted with organizing the college application process, researching colleges, and writing essays and personal statements. With young adult job seekers, I assisted with identifying strengths and interests, researching industries and positions, and strategizing for the job search.

I directed the career development program within the Community Engagement Center at Augustana. I worked primarily with students, counseling and training them on choosing a career direction, job searching, resume writing, and applying to graduate school. I also gave workshops and presentations and wrote new educational materials for students.

I provided leadership to the college's internship program by advising students, advertising opportunities, and working collaboratively with faculty. Each semester I taught a career exploration class, and I gave workshops and met with students regularly.
