As finance manager and head of finance, I work as part of the management team to help deliver the companies targets and growth projections.

I report to the Finance Director with a team of 2 direct reports. Key tasks include the implication and transfer of data to new NetSuite ERP system, combining financial and contract data from multiple legacy systems. Update and improve the revenue recognition model, and improve the process of raising quarterly income share statements. Along with preparation and presentation of quarterly board management information packs alongside day to day financial management of the business.

I delivered leadership and direction to improve financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting. Along with treasury, cash management and payroll for this UK design and manufacturing company with £2M turnover and 18 employees, as head of finance and reported directly to the MD.I optimised decision-making by formulating reports & initiating financial reviews for MD and management team.

I am responsible for the financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across the business. I lead the finance team, with four direct reports.I set up and publish weekly and periodic performance reporting packs, and present this financial performance to the senior Executives. As well as routine reporting, I provide ad hoc financial support to most projects across the business,.I have a track record of improving financial reporting – by cutting Group month end reporting by ten days. I have made significant cost savings throughout the company by reviewing costs from an independent perspective.
