My educational and professional background is in elementary education. As a teacher I focused on building and adjusting curriculum to meet the specific needs of my students, motivating and engaging children in learning, and effectively partnering with care givers to fully meet the needs of the whole child. Given my professional background I chose to be the primary educator for my children and sought remote and contract work opportunities that allowed me to do so. These positions granted me rich personal and professional growth as well as developed my ability to interact, partner, and communicate with diverse demographics and personalities. The skills I garnished in my past and current professional roles have shaped me into a highly motivated, detail oriented, people focused leader.
