Doing what I was doing before (and still loving it), but with a fancier job title not of my choosing.

The charity we established to operate swimming at Moseley Road Baths.

Responsible for Birmingham Friends of the Earth's community environmental building and staff. Has included lease negotiations, HR matters, liaising with tenants and participating in plans for a major crowdfunded refurbishment.

Job-sharing with the excellent Karen McCarthy, working with around 15 associates and members. The Coordinator role is chief executive, policy officer, social media manager, admin & finance and everything in between. Strategic and everyday management of LWM's consultancy, thinktank and campaign activities. Designing and delivering projects, fundraising, giving presentations, researching and communicating aspects of economic localisation. Currently working with the West Midlands Combined Authority to engage civil society in advising what the WMCA can do to foster more a more inclusive economy.

I created this role, which still exists. Supporting volunteer campaigners and acting on their behalf during the working day; media work and other comms, dealing with local planning and policy issues, support and advocacy for local community groups working on specific local campaigns, working with others on campaigns strategy. Have to say it was a fantastic job.

One of a core group organising c400 volunteers operating a property lockup service at Glastonbury and other music festivals, to raise money for a number of groups - in my case for Birmingham Friends of the Earth.
