During my Internship, I provided support to the Nestle Nutrition Business to meet 100% compliance with IMS product briefs by leading product brief process from initiation until finalization. This required maintaining a constant and clear communication between producing markets in United States, Chile, Costa Rica, Mexico, Holland, Germany, and Brazil with receiving markets which were Haiti, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and NCI (Nestlé Caribbean Inc.). Key functions included but not limited: • Identify products currently supplied without a valid product brief, or from ongoing projects, initiate their brief and follow up with coordinators, section members and approvers until product briefs get finalized. Initially there were less than 20 PB’s completed, by February 2013 a total of 317 PB’s were in compliance and completed. • Follow up with section responsible of currently opened product briefs for the Nutrition Business and ensure they get finalized. • Support in the follow up of the code creation workflow for current Nutrition Projects. • Additional support was provided to the Regional Event Manager by following up on existing projects, there was a brief use of the NPDI (Nestle Product Development & Introduction) tool.
