Karen not only developed the branding for BioSystems, but designed the internal operation and quality systems. Within four years Mitos went from a fledgling company to a global player that sold to a Fortune 500 company in 2007. As a key member of the marketing team of a 7-office "early adopter" radiology provider, Karen created marketing materials and campaigns to introduce complex medical technology to a wide audience. From physicians to patients to employees, Karen developed various user-specific collateral packages and web portals to assure the success of targeted user experience objectives.

Involved in the launch of a quarterly journal for medical residents, Karen was responsible for soliciting articles from medical experts in various disciplines, obtaining peer reviews for articles and final copyediting of each volume.
