Responsible for advising and student success-related tasks benefiting students in Discover Programs. This includes academic advising, vocational exploration, teaching courses in the Discover Program curriculum, and providing student success interventions/referrals. In collaboration with the CAS Dean's office staff, this position will coordinate with various campus partners to support Discover Students from the time they apply to the University of Dayton and up to the student's major declaration.

Assist students with setting goals and identifying, planning for, and overcoming potential obstacles anddefining steps in education and career planning; builds rapport and trust with students to support successful goal completion; monitors student progress toward goals; conducts follow up with program participants; offers advisement as needed. Provides assistance to students and Program Managers to problem solve issues that arise related to progress towards academic goals, persistence and attendance. Maintains student contact and academic ecords as needed

Under the supervision of the Employment Services Manager, provides for the daily andoverall service activities of clientele who are adults with mental and physical disabilities, involved in community-based employment. Assures the successful placement ( job development) and follow along support ( training and maintaining) of program participants, assisting individuals in achieving established personal goals on their path to work, career, contribution, and participation.

Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.Conduct opinion surveys or needs assessments.
