As Duty Manager at Crieff Hydro, I am responsible for managing guest expectations and ensuring the day to day operation of the business is running smoothly. Crieff Hydro boasts 215 bedrooms, 55 self-catering cottages, 6 restaurants, 12 function spaces and over 60 on-site activities for our customers to enjoy. Customer Service• Management of the Porters Team to ensure the appropriate set up of function rooms for on-site conferences and events.• Face to face point of contact for all guests staying at the hotel who have queries, questions or issues that need rectified. Systems and Processes• Held responsible for the Fire Safety and Health and Safety of the hotel whilst on duty. • Carry out spot checks throughout the business to ensure business standards are met.

As Senior Events Coordinator, I was the lead contact for corporate clients when discussing, negotiating and organising events such as, special occasions, weddings, conferences and teambuilding.This role required in-house stakeholder management whilst liaising with the hotel Operations Team as well as external suppliers. Building strong relationships with clients was key to understand their goals, meet expectations and create loyalty.
