Worked with CTV News as an Administrative Assistant for over 26 years, doing numerous duties which included but not limited to entering, formatting, and printing documents, organising work, answering calls from viewers, reporters and various individuals, relaying messages, booking flights and hotel for staff for travel, accreditation for staff going to the Olympics or travelling to cover different events in Canada and other countries, maintaining equipment and supplies. Along with being an Administrative Assistant, I was also a Human Resources Assistant where my duties included but not limited to completing job postings for vacant positions, completing paperwork for new hires, welcoming new employees to the organisation, providing payroll information by collecting time and attendance records for some employees, maintaining employee information, maintaining employee confidence and protecting operations by keeping human resource information confidential, and maintaining quality service by following organisation standards.
