Capital Coordinator/Project Controls: Maintain a database to track and manage capital projects costs. Perform cost analysis, reporting and maintain metrics of projects. Coordinate with corporate business engineering manager to integrate capital processes required by corporate policies and procedures and ensure training of appropriate personnel. Review capital project requests prior to authorization. Utilize SAP PS to load and close projects and generate reports for data entry into site reports. Site liaison for SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) reconciliations of projects by providing necessary reports from SAP and ensuring personnel responsible for project reconciliations are incorporated into the corporate database. Fixed Asset Coordinator: Communicate asset movement data to corporate Fixed Asset accounting center. Ensure all fixed asset transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner and review monthly fixed asset records to insure movements, disposals, etc. are posted. Coordinate asset reviews annually to identify idle property and equipment. Ensure appropriate equipment classification as operating, non-operating or abandoned in place. Participate in the corporate Regional Fixed Asset Coordinator Network in developing and implementing of standard SOX controls, best practices and attend monthly conference calls.Estimator: Capital project estimating utilizing Aspen In-Plant Cost Estimator. Attend scope of work and estimate review meetings. Perform field walk downs of proposed scopes of work.
