LikeMinds Consulting has been engaged by the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT) to provide PACS project advisory and project management services related to the upgrade of their territory wide PACS system. LikeMinds looks forward to working with GNWT on this exciting initiative.

Halton Healthcare is an award winning healthcare organization comprised of three community hospitals and numerous community-based services in the growing urban and rural communities of Halton Hills, Milton, and Oakville. Together the three hospitals - Georgetown Hospital, Milton District Hospital, and Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital - serve a population of almost 400,000 residents. Halton Healthcare embarked on a transformational project to implement MEDITECH's Expanse platform "Together, transforming through connected experiences". The project encompassed multiple years and included the implementation of MEDITECH's latest web-based applications, computerized physician order entry and physician documentation. Karen provided overall project management leadership to greater than 20 core teams throughout the project lifecycle as a sub-contractor to Navin Haffty(NH). The partnership of Halton Healthcare, MEDITECH, and NH experienced unprecedented challenges during the implementation due to the far reaching impact of COVID-19 for over 2.5 years of the project lifecycle. The organizations demonstrated their resilience and nimbleness as they tackled each new barrier presented with creativity and professionalism and went live successfully on November 13, 2021 delivering on their project objectives.

Karen lead a large 3-hospital organization as they transitioned from MEDITECH Magic to MEDITECH Expanse including WebAcute, WebED, and WebAMB as a sub-contractor to Navin, Haffty & Associates (NHA). Citrus Valley Health Partners in Covina, CA engaged NHA as their MEDITECH READY certified partner to provide guidance and leadership through a 13 member team of NHA Subject Matter Experts, each bringing expertise and experience gained through multiple MEDITECH 6.x READY and/or Pathway projects. Citrus Valley rolled out MEDITECH's Home Health and Hospice application March 1, 2018 and the remaining applications were deployed using a big bang approach on April 1, 2019.

Karen provided interim Project Manager resources to a Critical Access organization in Iowa as they transitioned from MEDITECH CS to 6.15 with WebAmbulatory in a Pathways implementation. These services were provided as a sub-contract to Navin, Haffty & Associates.

As a sub-contracted resource to Navin, Haffty & Associates Karen provided Project Management leadership to a MEDITECH CS to 6.15 with WebAmbulatory project in Kansas.

As a sub-contractor to Navin Haffty & Associates (NHA), Karen led a team of highly skilled NHA Consultants and Client team members on a MEDITECH Client Server to 6.15 Pathways project in Illinois. The implementation included the implementation of MEDITECH's web-based Ambulatory solution to greater than twenty physician practices with numerous specialities. The project was identified as the most significant project for the organization and was foundational to their overall transformation initiative in 2015 and 2016. The site went LIVE in February 2017.

As a Senior Project Manager with Navin, Haffty & Associates, Karen led a full hospital information system implementation (MEDITECH 6.1 READY) for a not-for-profit multi-facility organization in Mississippi, USA. This transformational project delivered full CPOE and physician documentation across all campuses on day 1 in a big bang Go Live.
