CurrentMaui Jim is an American sunglasses manufacturer based in Peoria, Illinois. U.S. Founded in Lahaina, Hawaii, in 1980, the company designs, develops, and manufactures a wide variety of sunglasses marketed under the eponymous brand name.As the Central Sales Manager, I am responsible for managing the combination of activities involved in the process of moving Maui Jim Sunglasses from the point of manufacture to its ultimate purchase by the consumer. I assist in developing marketing programs and communication programs which strategically promote our products to the sun wear industry, thereby increasing our market share, productivity, and profitability in new and existing markets. In this role, I have been able to build strong relationships with my clients, whilst increasing sales year over year. Earning the Big Kahuna (Top Sales Award) in 2008 & 2012 for the largest annual global sales volume increase in the organization. Additionally, I was honored to achieve the Kahuna Club (President’s Award) 8 times, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2017, and 2022.Supervisor, Corporate Gifts Division Jan. 2005 – Dec. 2006Peoria, Illinois, United StatesAs the Supervisor for our Corporate Gifts division, I coordinated and assisted with the dispensing of our custom fitting experience and sales of Maui Jim sunglasses at promotional and sales events. Overseeing all marketing efforts within the division, as well as, provided administrative support to our Corporate Gifts accounts, regional sales managers and premium sales representatives with a focus on ASI distributors.
