Hello there.I’m Karen, a nurse with over a 14 years of experience on a mission to deliver life-changing community care supports to those living with a disability, TAC participants and the elderly in Melbourne’s southeast.I’ve spent my entire life living in Melbourne’s southeast—born, raised, and still living here. This isn’t just a location for me; this community is my home.Every day, I feel a calling to make a positive impact in this community I cherish. With a background spanning aged care, NDIS disability support and TAC care, I’ve witnessed firsthand the challenges faced by our most vulnerable.My journey took a deeply personal turn when my father battled and sadly passed from pancreatic cancer. Navigating the healthcare system alongside him exposed me to a lack of compassion and care within hospitals and home care agencies. This frustration led to me founding Care With Dignity & Co, a family-run, nurse-led community nursing agency.I’m determined to ensure that those living with a disability, recovering from a traumatic transport accident and the elderly not only survive, but live with the dignity they truly deserve.Go ahead and connect, I enjoy meeting new people who are equally as passionate about their line of work.
