I have been a Director of Human Resources, primarily in the healthcare setting, for nearly 15 years. Landing my first HR job as a Human Resources Coordinator in a small 90-bed skilled nursing facility, with roughly 150 employees. More recently, I worked for Ryders Health Management where I had complete oversight of more than 1500 employees in a multi-site healthcare company located throughout Connecticut.I have extensive experience with employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution. I am a strong leader and have coached some of the most inexperienced managers through new scenarios and situations with positive results, while similarly providing direction to more advanced leaders who may have a tendency to get stuck in their ways. I have knowledge of the corporate aspects of benefit administration, workers compensation, policy and procedure development, project management, HRIS systems, and payroll. Additionally, I am highly adept at building and maintaining relationships with all levels of employees-- from line staff to leadership there is no one in a company that I believe shouldn’t have an equal opportunity to be heard.
