I am an education geek! I've worked in the education sector for 20 years, predominantly in research and leadership roles (sadly not directly in the classroom). Here are some of the things I'm most proud of so far in my career...Winning an international edtech prize for Teacher Tapp and the company being recognised in Education Investor's EdTech Fast 20 list: being part of a start up means everyday is a learning day!Leading the fantastic volunteer team who created the specialist curriculum for Oak National Academy: it was only 6 weeks work but it was one of the most impactful things I've ever done (& led to an MBE for services to special education) Sharing research & evidence: I've given evidence at Select Committees and been interviewed on the Today Programme (both were equally scary!) I've also edited a book and written lots of blogs and articles.Doing great research: at Teacher Tapp we poll daily which creates an amazing education dataset. Some of the best research of my career was at the BBC where I led international mutli-disciplinary teams on quasi-experimental impact studies.Supporting others: I'm a MAT Trustee, a mentor, and have volunteered in lots of other capacities. I'm privileged to have lots of great relationships and I try my very best to support those around me.
