Responsibilities include working with 14 publishing representatives to increase custom sales across the regions. Work with professors to create custom print and digital solutions to enhance learning. Manage $6MM in annual sales across 14 states and achieved 105% of sales goal in 2018 and 100% in 2019. Developed a custom, nationally-offered digital product leading to first-year sales of $50,000 and an additional $250,000+ for 2021.

Drove sales in designated disciplines and products through active support of sales representatives and regional sales manager. Attained 100% of sales YOY and increased custom sales in the region by $300,000 in 2018. Earned Sales Specialist of the Year Award in 2015 and consistently exceeded sales goals each year. Worked with sales representatives and regional managers to plan and implement sales campaigns including sales presentations, campus visits, digital product demonstrations, and closing strategies. Delivered ongoing training, on-boarding, and presentations to adopters of media products to ensure a positive experience with the platforms, including the development of a regional training plan. Supported adopters with technical support issues and ongoing training needs.

Sold supplemental curriculum offerings to K-12 schools with primary emphasis on new business development. Managed a large geographic territory, exceeded sales goal, and earned a ranking of #2 in curriculum sales in 2014. Responsible for training and managing Inside Sales Specialist which required building processes that fostered a collaborative work environment to grow sales. It also required developing procedures to report progress to management. This was largely done using the CRM (Oracle) system as well as the OneNote program.

Working in the Publishing field allowed me to indulge my passion for education and work with students and professors on a daily basis.
