Hi! Who would have thought our world would have changed in such a short time? Well it did and now it's time to lean into the challenge and move on for a new style of life, at least for the time being.With our Work from Home restrictions many of our jobs have changed. I have experience in WFH situations and am looking for opportunities to not only help myself during this difficult time, but also, any size company that is in need of administrative assistance. Please reach out to me if you are in need of someone full time, part time, or on a task basis.Here's a little about me.I have been very fortunate that my career has been very diverse with one thing in common – serving and supporting people. This includes the community through the Educational Foundation, Chambers of Commerce, C-level Executives, our Senior population, the Arts, and my own restaurant. Throughout my life I have learned and continue to understand that good customer service is the basis not only for business but also in our lives and the way we interact with people. A pleasant, intelligent, respectful conversation can lead to many awesome opportunities. Most of the time when people are not satisfied with a situation it’s because they believe they are not being heard and respected; 99% of the time concerns can be changed into opportunities.I value working independently to support others but also enjoy the teamwork that I know will develop. While working for NHS as an Assistant I had the opportunity to be part of two new initiatives: Trauma Informed Care (TIC) and Partners in Caring. I rose from being an Administrative Assistant to Project Manager/Development of TIC and Co-facilitator of Partner in Caring. TIC was an internal initiative while Partners in Caring was both internal and external. These were great learning experiences: developing processes, thinking how to get these programs off the ground, plenty of teamwork, and managing to-do lists.
