Topic: Discovering Patterns using Driving DataDriver power demand is a factor that depends on maneuving features and environmental features. In hybrid vehicles, the propulsive power is generated by the electric motor and the combustion engine. Since the two power sources are better suited for different traffic situations, identification of the current driving scenario would be beneficial in the vehicle design with respect to power efficiency. The aim of the master thesis is to investigate Machine Learning methods to perform this task. After the pattern recognition, a predictive model of the power driving demand will be constructed.

As part of the international team, one must have an excelent communication skills and networking to perform personal and long distance contact with prospective students.
