Leadership and management of the Global Internal Audit Function for W.R. Grace.

I have been delivering Internal Audit services to PwC clients in the health care and other industries for over 10 years. I am currently focused on delivering Internal Audit and GRC services to my clients as part of the Risk Assurance Performance GRC practice. I am a lead director overseeing the development and delivery of our Healthcare Compliance service and practice. I previously served as the lead Director at the Risk Assurance Innovation Center where my team was focused on the development of new products and services designed to address the emerging risks our clients face. Prior to that, I served as the National Practice Director supporting the National Internal Audit Services leader. In this role, I was involved in strategy, new product/service development, marketing, national pursuits, client team support, reporting and many other responsibilities. Prior to joining PwC, I spent four years in internal audit at one of the largest Baltimore based financial services institutions. I have led enterprise-wide, fraud and internal audit risk assessments, external quality assessments, strategic assessments and best practices reviews at my health care clients including hospitals and payers. Prior to entering the field of internal audit, I had several years of experience as a management consultant and project manager. I have deep industry experience in the financial services and healthcare fields.My responsibilities at PwC have included providing internal audit, compliance, risk management and Sarbanes Oxley services to health care payers, providers, and in other industry clients. I have developed audit programs for a variety of specialized industry and functional areas including claims operations, claims processing systems, quality assessment functions, CMS compliance, HIPAA compliance, project management functions, underwriting, pricing and specialized business sector reviews. I hold a CIA and CRMA.
