Secured Loans Manager/Mortgage Underwriting for a large Mortgage broker. Duties included underwriting: deciding based on interest rates and criteria which Mortgage or Secured Loan company, from our large panel of market leaders would suit the applicant best based on their circumstances. Collating & preparing the revelant documentation to send to the lenders for completion, this involved requesting employers references, valuations, Mortgage questionnaires etc. and liaising with the general public, Lenders, Surveyors and Solicitors. I reported the weekly figures and projected figures for the week ahead for my department to the Board Directors in a weekly Board Meeting. I trained several members of staff in all aspects of Secured Loans.

Underwriter for a small Secured Loan Brokers. Main duties included underwriting: deciding from a panel of approximately ten Secured Loan market leaders, which lender would suit the applicant best based on the interest rates and criteria. Also collating & preparing several types of documents to send to the applicant, carrying out credit searches, liaising with members of the public, Solicitors, Lenders and Surveyors. A small amount of general admin duties were also included.

Santander (previosuly Abbey National Plc) in the Customer Contact Team. Taking calls for Mortgages and Secured Loan accounts, while identifying sales leads for further Mortgage & Insurance products. Previous to this I worked on the Secured Loan Applications team, the New Business Mortgages Team the Change of Borrower Team.
