Responsible for company-wide leadership on all internal controls over financial reporting and financial governance matters. Led accounting teams performing enterprise-wide COSO Controls Testing; Compliance and Quality Assurance Reviews; Issue Monitoring & Reporting; and owned Regulatory and Risk Reporting Governance & Oversight framework for the firm.

Led corporate Regulatory Reporting and Basel Quality Assurance teams that perform testing of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of filed regulatory reports. Also led the implementation of Line of Business QA teams, which execute product-based testing.

Extensive experience in finance and regulatory strategy and implementations for large financial institutions. Led top banks through regulatory remediations, including reporting, process, and control changes. Experience building a compliance program to evaluate the effectiveness of Basel II & III controls and activities for a global bank, evaluating the effectiveness of a highly regulated financial institution’s risk assessment process, assisting a major mortgage servicer comply with terms of a Department of Justice settlement, and assisting a Fortune 50 financial institution with FAS 166 & 167 implementation. Also led Chart of Accounts and Reporting transformation services for a global banking client as part of a general ledger and finance system implementation.Completed a management development program assignment from 2005-2007 in the Office of the CEO of Deloitte & Touche LLP; led firm Strategy and Operations initiatives for the CEO and members of the executive committee. Selected in 2011 to the prestigious Ellen Gabriel Fellows program. The program provides intensive, multidimensional development experiences for top performing senior managers in line for admission to the partnership.Regularly facilitated national training programs on accounting and internal control related topics and was a certified DFX (Deloitte Faculty Excellence) facilitator. Has delivered training for all levels, including partner/director. Possessing a particular passion for the development of women leaders, led development efforts for female professionals and recruits such as Pay It Forward Senior Consultant Leadership Program and Women’s Leadership Program recruiting seminar.
