I've specialised in HR and employment law my entire career. And having spent 30+ years as both an international consultant and long-time HR Director, there are very few scenarios I’ve not encountered.I've seen first-hand how complex and challenging HR can be for organisations and their people, which is why I founded The People Factor in 2015, providing global HR consultancy and conference speaking for all types of business and industry sectors. For me, great HR is about providing the specialist support that ensures you’re doing everything right and able to handle whatever comes your way, be it a merger, acquisition, restructure – you name it. This usually centres on advising on the right strategy, solving your people challenges and helping you avoid any legal pitfalls along the way. And, ultimately, it’s about enabling your organisation or business to evolve, grow, react and adapt in a way that works for everyone. If you have a HR issue affecting your organisation, please feel free to get in touch for a no-obligation chat. Our clients range from large corporations, such as Burger King UK, Parkdean Resorts, British Rowing, Albanwise, to SMEs, such as Byron, Caisson Investment Management and Binding Sites Group....January 2021 saw the launch of The People Factor's recruitment arm – People Factor Recruitment. When you've worked so closely in and with so many different types of business as we have, you get to see what works well and what doesn’t when it comes to recruitment. So offering a recruitment service made perfect sense; because we’ve been on both sides of the fence, we know what good fit and getting the right people looks like.Add to that the vast network of contacts we've built up over the years – together with a good understanding of what’s required in different roles and positions – and combining HR with recruitment goes hand in hand. If you need a hand, we're just a message away. Please contact People Factor Recruitment's MD, Gemma Boulding, on gemma@thepeoplefactor.org.uk...Lastly, I also took on a Non-Executive Director role in 2021 with a subsidiary of the Wildlife Trust, using my HR experience to assist and advise the board and the Wildlife Trust trustees on the organisation’s transformational plans and CSR strategies. May it be the first of many!
