Oversee development, maintenance, selection and evaluation of the library's print and online collections. Investigate new techniques and tools to develop library collections.Evaluate new formats and digital platforms for possible inclusion in library collections. Using statistical data, identify areas of collection for special marketing strategies. Plan and allocate funds for Children's and Adult collections. Oversee marketing of the collections. Handle Inter-library loan requests and evaluate trends in borrowing/lending as it relates to collection development.Supervises Collection Development team and Library Aides.

Responsible for day to day running of Reader Services Division of the Adult Services Department; Asst. Dept. Head in Adult Services; supervision of 5 para professionals; provide reference and reader's advisory service; Collection Development. Provide one-on-one instruction for patrons on eReaders, tablets, and laptops and downloadable eBooks, zinio eMagazines, downloadable audiobooks and Hoopla streaming music and audio. Work closely with Head of Adult Services on procedures, budgets and departmental and individual goal planning. Supervise 5 professional reference librarians in Dept. Head's absence.
