Ten years since leaving the corporate world, i've decided to put down the box of Bon Bons and dust off the brain bit-rot...I've always had an interest in the artistic side of things. In high school, when all my buds were taking physics and advanced math, I was taking art classes....but, having a highly energetic, achievement oriented, type-A personality, my passion for designing, creating and inventing took a back seat while I pursued my career ambitions.That pursuit covered the fields of education, psychology and computer science......Along the way, I collected a BS (in Education) and two Master's degrees (Psychology and Computer Studies).I loved being a Software Engineer. I dreamt about code and woke up in the middle of the night to work on programs. Sometimes, I even dreamt solutions! True.I 'retired' to fulfill my girlhood dream of being a 'stay-at-home' mom, which I did when my son was a junior in high school. (He's all "growed-up" now…)And now.... I enjoy technical pursuits as well as creative and artistic ones. And i love traveling, backpacking and hiking! Off to see the world!
