Millburn-Short Hills Hometown Heroes Veterans Banner ProgramVolunteer Jul 2023 - PresentAfter years of seeing other local towns, install veterans banners in their communities, I approached leaders in Millburn Township and joined forces to sell, design, promote, install and celebrate over 100 local veternas both living and deceased, in Millburn Township. Banners were sold and a portion of the funds went to help the local American Legion. I raised and donated thousands of dollars to paint the building, replace light bulbs, clean carpets and to provide lunch for over 200 Veterans and their families on 11/11/23. It was a proud day for our community and the banners are still up all over Millburn Avenue, Main St, Essex Street and near the Short Hills Train Station. I also shot and collected photos of homes that are torn down for our archives.
